My name is Emily Artalejo Frailey, I am a multiracial Latina Embodied Leadership coach with an academic background in peacebuilding and nonviolent communication. I earned my Master’s in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University in Washington, D.C. I strive to create spaces where people can be their most authentic selves. 

I am especially passionate about uplifting the experiences of fellow mixed, multiracial, and multicultural people– supporting them to embrace their wholeness and letting go of the idea of not being “enough.”

My clients have included:

• A multiracial Latina social services specialist who needed a safe space to navigate her own understanding of her racial identity as she was asked to facilitate a racial equity dialogue at her place of work

• A multiracial Latina therapist who intellectually understood the complexity of her racial identity, but needed support in letting go of the compartmentalization and code-switching that she had done for many decades out of survival

• A multiracial Black woman arts non-profit founder preparing for leave. Together, we worked on: boundaries for communication during leave, letting go of perfectionism, and daring to dream of a life with more art, less admin

• A Latina clinical supervisor who felt divided between her life and work in the U.S. and her extended family in Mexico. We worked on her connecting back to her wholeness, her power, and ancestral wisdom
